Essential intro/intermediate text / / 2010-06-20
This book covers a wide range of topics in a very concise and clear prose. Many of the essential basic models are presented in a way that allows for easy self-study, as well as study in a classroom setting. Great intro to intermediate text.

This product had too much writing, too many highlights, and stains on some of the pages. Had I known the book was going to be in such condition, I would have never ordered it from this seller.

I think Mankiw does an excellent job presenting the necessary macro economic concepts at an advanced undergarduate/introductory masters level.

Review for Macroeconomics Book / / 2010-02-18
The book is exactly what I asked for and in the correct condition noted by the seller. I felt that it took a little longer than normal to reach my house, but it isn't that big of a deal to me. All that matters is I got it.

I am happy with the textbook but there are some small differences in each chapter versus the new version. There are some key formulas I have used to do homework which were different from the old version and the current edition. As long as you have the opportunity to compare both, then you should be ok. You should check each chapter while reading or doing the homework to make sure to see if there are any differences. For the price, I would say it is worth it. I had the opportunity to compare both editions because I had to do my homework on the horrible aplia site which, we had to buy the electronic version of the current econ. book.
